Travelers will explore misty hill stations, coastal temples, ancient cities, and sacred shrines, connecting the epic’s timeless stories with the island’s natural and cultural treasures. Day 01 – Arrival in Colombo

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, guests are transferred to their hotel in Colombo for rest and acclimatization. The evening may include an optional puja at a local temple, offering the first immersion into the spiritual ambiance of the journey. Overnight stay is in Colombo.

Day 02 – Colombo to Chilaw and Anuradhapura

Visit Munneswaram Temple, where Lord Rama is believed to have prayed to Shiva, and the Manavari Temple, also called Ramalinga Shivan. After these sacred sites, travel to Anuradhapura for check-in and relaxation. Overnight stay is in Anuradhapura.

Day 03 – Anuradhapura to Trincomalee

Start the day with a visit to Shri Shankari Devi Temple, one of the Shakti Peethas, before transferring to Trincomalee. Explore Koneswaram Temple, perched atop Swami Rock, offering both spiritual and scenic wonder. Overnight stay is in Trincomalee.

Day 04 – Trincomalee to Dambulla and Sigiriya

Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, home to ancient murals and golden Buddhas. En route, see Isurumuniya, associated with Sita’s bathing rituals. Arrive at Sigiriya for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 05 – Sigiriya to Habarana and Ramboda

Morning climb of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an optional cultural experience, followed by a stop at Sita Kotuwa, believed to be one of the early locations of Sita’s captivity. Transfer to Ramboda in the cool hill country for relaxation. Overnight stay is in Ramboda.

Day 06 – Ramboda to Nuwara Eliya

Visit Gayathri Peedam, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and explore the Sita Amman Temple, Ashok Vatika, and Divurumpola, where Sita underwent the Agni Pariksha. Continue to Nuwara Eliya for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 07 – Nuwara Eliya to Ella

Stop at Ravana Falls and Ravana Cave, steeped in legend, before taking a scenic train ride or drive to Ella. Enjoy the serene highland views and unwind in the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay is in Ella.

Day 08 – Ella to Kataragama

Visit Kataragama Temple, revered by Hindus, Buddhists, and Muslims alike. Attend the evening puja if available and soak in the spiritual atmosphere. Overnight stay is in Kataragama.

Day 09 – Kataragama to Ussangoda and Galle

Travel to Ussangoda, believed to have been scorched by Hanuman’s fiery tail, before continuing to Galle. Explore Galle Fort and enjoy the historic coastal ambiance. Overnight stay is in Galle.

Day 10 – Galle to Rumassala and Bentota

Visit Rumassala Hill, considered a fragment of the Sanjeevani mountain, and the Unawatuna Peace Pagoda. Transfer to Bentota for beachside relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 11 – Bentota to Kelaniya and Colombo

Stop at Kelaniya Temple, associated with King Vibhishana’s coronation, before returning to Colombo. Evening at leisure or optional temple visit. Overnight stay is in Colombo.

Day 12 – Colombo Cultural and Spiritual Tour

Explore Sri Kailawasanathan Temple and enjoy free time for shopping or spiritual reflection. Overnight stay is in Colombo.

Day 13 – Day of Devotion or Free Day

Optional revisit to temples, local markets, or city exploration. Conclude the day with a farewell dinner accompanied by cultural performances if desired. Overnight stay is in Colombo. 

Day 14 – Departure

Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for onward travel, bringing the spiritual and cultural journey to a close.
